Dubai Maritime City (DMC) is a multipurpose maritime zone located in the heart of the United Arab Emirates. It is strategically positioned on a reclaimed peninsula between Port Rashid and Dubai Dry Docks. The site connects seamlessly to Dubai's main road network offering direct access to major expressways, including Sheikh Zayed Road (E11). It serves as a key centre for maritime businesses, ship repair, and trade, integrating various sectors like marine services, education, and research facilities. Spanning over 249 hectares, DMC Dubai is divided into the Maritime Centre, the Industrial Precinct, The Academic Quarter, the Marina District, the Harbour Residence, and the Harbour Offices.

Dubai Maritime City Free Zone is surrounded by the Arabian Gulf which allows quick access to the sea, airport as well as public transport options. DMC Dubai is broadly divided into two precincts, one is industrial while the other is commercial.
The industrial precinct of Dubai Maritime City area has unobstructed open access to seawaters and is mostly occupied by businesses which are involved in ship repair and maintenance, yacht repair and manufacturing and other workshop units related to maritime businesses. It is currently the most developed area within DMC.
The commercial precinct of Dubai Maritime City is divided into The Marina District, The Maritime Centre, Dubai Maritime City Campus, Harbour Residences and Harbour Offices.
The Marina District offer mixed-use activity areas, charter and transit marina facilities, dry boat storage and ferry transit facilities.
The Maritime Centre, the urban corporate park in Dubai Maritime City, is currently under development. It consists of eight waterfront parcels and three interior parcels around a boulevard. There is a cluster featuring five high-rise towers named the Creek Towers, a plaza and a Landmark Tower at the entrance.
Dubai Maritime City Campus will be the academic quarter in DMC. Once completed, it will offer courses in marine engineering, transportation and naval science. There will be a capacity of 1,300 students with a double-storey library and a 500-room stay facility for students.
Harbour Residences are the 14 empty plots, reserved for waterfront residential towers. Harbour Offices is a space of 19 development plots adjacent to Harbour Residences in Dubai Maritime City.
